Featured Artist: AuKSOne!
Artist Page: http://www.auksone.com/index.html
When we discussed doing a weekly post on a featured artist/musician, Auks' name was among the first written down. Ryan first ran into AuKSOne a few years ago at an art store on Mass avenue. If you haven't stumbled upon any of his work - find it and stumble
Auks' inspiration stemmed from Chicano tattoo art, cartoons: foreign and domestic, skateboard graphics, and later Hip Hop culture and high Renaissance drawings. This self-taught artist is best known for his graffiti-inspired illustrations and murals. His work has inevitably spread to the gallery circuit catching the attention of various companies and collectors. I urge you to check out his site. And if you like what you see, he now has paintings for sale at the LotF Gallery on Karmaloop.com
