We are Hink Creations

The act of creation is fundamentally complicated — in a beautiful way. Not only does creation command disciplined grind, it also requires the complex coordination of specialists in alignment with the overarching vision for your project. At Hink Creations, we believe that the process of taking a project from ideation to completion is an art in itself, and it's specifically this art we've focused on mastering over the past 6 years.

At its core, Hink Creations is a husband-wife team, specializing in projects relating to sight and sound. We believe that our clients' projects are too important to be left unseen, whether they exist on the pages of a notepad, the strings of a guitar, or the depths of a hard drive. One of our primary focuses over the years has been to nurture, individual-by-individual, a powerful network of freelance musicians, designers, photographers, and developers to ensure that your projects are touched only by people who dedicate their lives to their craft. This process has resulted in us expanding our core team to include Katii Tornick, a contagiously passionate photographer, and Adam Schneider, a composer and sound designer whose work — and work ethic — is nothing less than awesome.

RYAN HINKLE (sound)

With over 15 years of experience playing sax, piano, viola and programming, I've always had a passion for music. I have been fortunate enough to record, produce, and write with talented artists from nearly every genre. My professional roles have included Manager/Producer at Sanctum Sound, and Herd Studio, Music Coordinator for the teen-cooking series Kickin' Kitchen, MIDI Author with Accel Studios for the game Rockband, Engineer at The Bridge Sound and Stage, and Promoter Relations/Business Development Rep. at Sonicbids. I have a BA from Berklee College of Music in Production and Engineering and I make a damn good breakfast. When I'm not working on music, I'm outside biking, snowboarding, or walking around Boston.

I moved to Boston in 2008 to attend Emerson College, where I developed a broad skill set in both sight and sound, and graduated with a BA in Media Production: Sound Design/Audio Post and Photography. My past professional work includes product and lifestyle photography for Heyday Footwear, editorial work for Click Models, photojournalism for Living Exposed, concert/event photography for WERS 88.9 FM and sports and action photography for the Reebok Spartan Race. I am also the sole catalog and lookbook photographer, stylist, graphic designer and manager of eCommerce at Shop344. My achievements in sound include winner of the best female producer award in 2010 at the New England Urban Music Awards for hiphop production, and being part of the audio team for all motion capture shoots and dialogue editing for Halo 4 at Technicolor in Los Angeles. When I am not out shooting or in the studio I like to travel, snowboard and design clothing.

Adam Schneider (sound)

I'm a professional composer, producer, and sound designer based in the Boston area.

After graduating from the Berklee College of Music in 2007 with degrees in both Music Production and Engineering and Music Synthesis, I worked alongside professional keyboardist David Rosenthal on projects including the broadway musical A Tale of Two Cities and the Billy Joel: Last Play at Shea concerts.

I landed my first video game role as an audio designer for Activision’s Guitar Hero handheld titles, and have worked on video game franchises that include Marvel, Skylanders, and Transformers.

A self described ‘synthesizer geek’, I have a strong passion for all things music technology and pride myself on being able to record, edit, mix, and produce all of my content.  I also play a wide variety of instruments including guitar, bass, keyboards, vibraphone, and mandolin.

Hink Creations has been very fortunate to collaborate with talented designers, engineers, developers, photographers, musicians, illustrators, business gurus and interns.
